What is Aikido?
Aikido is a traditional Japanese martial art that redirects the force/energy of one’s attacker. Using a combination of joint locks, throws and pins, Aikido is able to overcome aggression in calm a peaceful manner. Through the rigors of your training, this martial art develops both physical and mental awareness. The ultimate goal of Aikido is for to avoid conflict trough compassion and self-awareness.
What is the Zenshinkai Aikido Association?
The Zenshinkai Aikido Association (ZAA), is a nationally recognized aikido association with ties to Hombu Dojo in Tokyo, Japan. The ZAA’s instructional program is instituted and maintained by the Chairman and Chief Instructor Greg Noble Sensei, rokudan (6th degree) under the teaching methodology of the late Fumio Toyoda Shihan and Aikido Founder Morihei Ueshiba. Greg Null Sensei, the Dojocho and Chief Instructor of River Valley Aikido, is the Vice-Chairman of the Zenshinkai Aikido Association.
